Have you ever wondered “how the locals live” when you travel? Do you enjoy meeting people, sharing Rotary? Rotary Friendship Exchange is a terrific program that allows all that and more. Heck you even save money! I took on Chair of the RFE program for District 5370. I registered with RI. Now I am putting together RFE’s with India, Taiwan and Australia. Is your District involved in RFE? Want to swap ideas?
Rotary Friendship Exchange means you can travel the world and experience the destination country through the eyes of the locals. It means new friendships and experiences not open to traditional travels. It means fun and fellowship. It means sharing our one true common interest – Rotary.
If there is a RFE committee and chair in your district ask about it! If not – get one started by seeing the links above and the RFE info links on the R.I. web site as well (Found from the second link above.
Traveling to South Africa peaked my passion for Rotary. It opened our eyes to another land, another culture. It created new friendships. I think it’s a gift. Let’s share it.
If you wish to swap notes please let me know.
